Refund and Account Termination Policy
This policy explains billing corrections, discretionary subscription-period refunds, abuse review, suspension, and account termination standards.
A. Incorporation and Defined Terms
Capitalized Terms used in this policy have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
B. Billing Corrections
SMS-TO.IT.COM corrects duplicate charges, proven billing mistakes, and other clear billing errors. The user should report a suspected billing error promptly through the support methods that SMS-TO.IT.COM publishes.
C. General Refund Rule
Except where required by law, SMS-TO.IT.COM does not generally provide refunds for used Credits, expired Credits, or completed billing periods. This rule supports consistent pricing, predictable operations, and fair treatment across the user base.
D. Discretionary Current-Period Subscription Refunds
SMS-TO.IT.COM may, in its discretion, refund Subscription fees for the Current Subscription Period, including when SMS-TO.IT.COM decides to end the relationship with an abusive, incompatible, or high-risk Account rather than continue to provide service. A discretionary refund of the Current Subscription Period does not obligate SMS-TO.IT.COM to refund separately purchased Credits, Add-Ons, prior billing periods, or already consumed usage.
E. Abuse, Fraud, and Gaming Prevention
SMS-TO.IT.COM monitors account activity, purchase timing, refund patterns, usage behavior, support interactions, and related service activity to detect fraud, abuse, harassment, chargeback abuse, account cycling, Complimentary Test Message evasion, and attempts to game pricing or expiration rules. SMS-TO.IT.COM may use automated systems, rule-based risk scoring, and machine-learning-assisted analysis to support review. SMS-TO.IT.COM reserves the right to make final account decisions in its discretion.
F. Suspension and Termination
SMS-TO.IT.COM may suspend, restrict, or terminate an Account immediately if SMS-TO.IT.COM reasonably believes that the Account presents fraud risk, abuse risk, payment risk, legal risk, operational stress, or harm to administrators, carriers, or other users. Where SMS-TO.IT.COM terminates a paid Subscription during the Current Subscription Period, SMS-TO.IT.COM may refund that Current Subscription Period and then close the Account.
G. Fairness Commitment
SMS-TO.IT.COM aims to maintain customer-first pricing, straightforward disclosures, and consistent enforcement. SMS-TO.IT.COM also reserves the right to end relationships that create persistent abuse, operational stress, or unfairness to administrators or other users.
